The Junior Development League establishes a structured baseball experience within middle schools, providing students ages 11–14 with access to organized sport, mentorship, and academic alignment.
This league emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and self-awareness through a balanced blend of baseball instruction and SEL-based learning. Participants gain confidence on the field while cultivating discipline, emotional intelligence, and communication skills — essential tools for their transition into high school athletics and beyond.
