Zach Michael is the Training & Wellness Manager at PrepStep Project, leading the development of youth sports programs that promote athletic growth and whole-child wellbeing. He oversees program design, curriculum development, and the creation of safe, supportive sports environments where young athletes can thrive.
With a background in chemical and biomedical engineering, Zach applies a systems-thinking approach to youth development. Prior to joining PrepStep, he co-founded Accelerate ACL, where he developed movement and performance frameworks used by athletes from beginners to professionals. This work inspired the creation of the Embodi3 Coaching Method—a practical system that teaches athletes to recognize and respond to physical and emotional cues to enhance wellbeing and performance.
Zach is committed to strengthening the wellbeing and long-term success of Baltimore youth by making sports a meaningful pathway to emotional intelligence, movement literacy, confidence, and self-leadership. He is dedicated to ensuring that every child experiences athletics as a safe, empowering, and growth-centered environment.
